I've been using the ProTX now for three months. Short story is a better, more consistent grip resulting in tighter groups.
Longer story is the peace of mind and safety this glove brings.
Several years ago I was hunting deer in the beautiful Northern Arizona Kaibab forest when my AAC carbon arrow snapped upon launching at one of the iconic squirrels. I was lucky in that several small carbon fibers ripped into my bow hand rather than the main shaft. When I removed the cotton glove, (gloves are a must in my opinion as to not stick to the grip) it was impossible to access the damage due to the amazing amount of blood. I used both gloves twisted around the hand to slow the bleeding and walked less than a mile back to camp. Once cleaned up, I spent several hours of precious hunting time pulling shards of carbon out of my hand, constantly washing away blood, and wondering how this could have been prevented.
Flex your arrows, run down the edge for flaws, carefully knok the darn thing and one day it may still ruin your hunt. Wear this glove as well and know you have done all you can to shoot accurately and significantly more safely. I didn't get all the carbon out. It is an every day reminder of a bad day that could have been life altering. I use it every time now of course, and would never consider to watch my friends, wife, and kids share the love of archery with-out this glove!..
